- Dallas police reportedly want to talk to Rashee Rice over his possible involvement in a multi-vehicle accident on Saturday.
- A Corvette and Lamborghini Urus hit multiple vehicles on the North Central Expressway, causing multiple injuries.
- The occupants of the Corvette and Urus reportedly walked away from the scene.
The Dallas Police Department is reportedly looking for Rashee Rice, who is a wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs. According to reports, a vehicle he’s believe to be connected to was involved in a high-profile crash over the weekend.
As you can see in dashcam video of the alleged incident, a Corvette and Lamborghini Urus appear to be speeding in the far left lanes. As the vehicles come into view, the Urus hits a small hatchback. The Corvette tries to avoid the car, but ends up hitting it as well.
The Vette then makes contact with a Toyota Sienna, which causes it to spin nearly 360 degrees. The vehicle then collides with an Infiniti QX60 before coming to a stop on the right shoulder.
While the Urus disappears from view shortly after the initial collision, it appears to go on to hit a white Lexus. This seemingly caused the Lamborghini to spin around as it’s facing traffic when the dashcam-equipped vehicle approaches. As it does, three people are seen exiting the crossover.
Details are hazy, but The Dallas Morning News talked to a police spokesperson who said the occupants in the Corvette and Lamborghini left on foot without checking on others or providing them with their information. The paper goes onto say that Rice is believed to be the driver of the Corvette.
While that’s not clear at this point, the publication says multiple people were injured. Two drivers suffered minor injuries which were treated on-scene, while two others were reportedly taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation continues, but spokeswoman Kristin Lowman told the paper the Lamborghini went onto the shoulder and “hit the center median wall, causing a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles.”
The paper talked to someone who was reportedly involved in the accident and she said the occupants of the Lamborghini appeared to pull someone out of the Corvette. She also said a pair of white cleats were left in the Urus, which suggests another athlete could potentially be involved.
While there are more questions than answers at this point, lawyers have already gotten involved and things will likely get messy.
