World’s first indoor electric car drive-in cinema lands at Farnborough later this year

Electric Cars

Teaming up with leading Drive-In Cinema specialists, YouTube sensation Fully Charged will be hosting multiple screenings of Christopher Nolan’s latest film, the much anticipated spy thriller, TENET, starring John David Washington.

This – the first in a series of drive-in events – will be held at Farnborough International, approximately 30 minutes from London Heathrow, and electric car drivers, and passengers alike, are guaranteed a unique cinematic experience.

These indoor screenings are possible because electric vehicles have no exhaust emissions, and as it is the world’s first indoor electric drive-in cinema event guests will make a little bit of history.

Guests will also get to watch a specially produced Fully Charged featurette in advance of the main feature, and will get to see the stunning new Polestar 2 electric car up close and personal.

What’s more for some of those that book early, there will be the opportunity to take the Polestar 2 for a test drive experience.

Furthermore, as they will be in-car for the duration guests can just sit back and enjoy the experience, safe in the knowledge that they are staying socially distant and safe.

The screenings, will of course, be fully compliant with the latest government restrictions.

Tickets, priced at £45 per car, are now available for the events that are taking place on October 29th, 30th, 31st and November 1st 2020. Full details and Frequently Asked Questions can be found over at: FullyCharged.Show/Events

And those that do not have an electric vehicle and would still like to attend can still register their interest with Gina@FullyCharged.Show for the standby list.

Watch founder and presenter Robert Llewellyn, launch the Electric Drive-in.

Robert had this to say:

“We were so disappointed to have to postpone our Fully Charged LIVE show to next summer, that we were determined to give our audience something else to look forward to.

So we’re delighted to be able to announce the Electric Drive-In and we believe that Fully Charged, Farnborough International, Polestar and the feature film we have chosen, is a winning combination.

In a time where there has never been more emphasis on the air we breathe, it’s fitting that zero emission electric vehicles enable us to host an indoor drive-in, and offer a COVID-safe environment too.”

Fully Charged intends to tour the Electric Drive-In more widely in the very near future.
